WHAT’S THE BLOG IDEA?

Ok, so this is my first real post.  I meant to have this site beautifully designed and up and running by last week.  But then,

 This happened.

My older son broke his wrist at camp and came home early.  His arm is in a splint, not a cast, because there was so much swelling.  He is NOT ALLOWED to use that arm.  He is not even allowed to play video games.  He will get the cast in two weeks, provided the arm is healing properly.  So he was resting, and then

This happened.

He got bronchitis/pneumonia.   He ran a fever, he slept a lot, he used a nebulizer.  He was so tired; he was not even tempted to use his arm.  After a few days, he felt much better.  Then

This happened.

My younger son came home from camp.   The two were happy to see each other.  They hung out, they laughed, and then … of course, they started to bicker and rough house.  So now I just spend my time trying to keep them apart or yelling “DON’T TOUCH HIM!  HE CAN’T USE THAT ARM!”

This has impeded my blog development.  Nevertheless, I have forged ahead with my first post.  If I waited for things to calm down around here, I’d never do anything.  I hope to gradually finish and enhance the design over the next few weeks.  Maybe I'll even learn to center a photo.  We’ll see what happens.

Thank you so much for visiting!
